Lanes Of Confusion On I-95

Lanes created to help alleviate traffic problems
MIAMI (CBS4) ― The new "95 Express" lanes have generated as much confusion as they have eased any traffic problems. During Friday morning's rush hour, chaos and confusion were popular themes among drivers, but what about Monday morning's commute?

Engineers with the Department of Transportation said they spent the weekend studying the idea of putting up more signs in hopes of clearing up the confusion.

"It's real confusing, it's real confusing. It's gonna(sic) be a lot of accidents I think," said driver Lucian Jones.

Part of the confusion comes from the fact that if you get in the express lanes, you're stuck in them until the Golden Glades. Some drivers don't like being stuck in the lanes and are trying to get out of the lanes in between the white plastic sticks meant to be barricades."

This looks like another failure after the failure of the HOV Lanes (that no one were able to use for car pooling) that used to be half of what the 95 Express lanes are. Its a great idea but no one is car pooling in Florida
